Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome volunteers of all skills and interest to help us launch and grow. Some roles may eventually transition to paid part-time or contract work as the organization develops. Apply here.

If you would like to offer expertise not listed here, please reach out so we can discuss how you can get plugged in! 

Programming & Expertise (Lead: Stephanie Swanson)

  • Expert Contributors – Lead a webinar, workshop, or write a guest post to share your skills around employment & entrepreneurship (marketing, accounting, branding, AI, social media, small business legal & taxes, etc).

  • Webinar & Podcast Support – Coordinate speakers, moderate live events, edit recordings, and create show notes or highlight clips.

Marketing & Outreach (Lead: TBD)

  • Social Media & Newsletters – Manage Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, or help draft newsletters and blogs.

  • Partnerships & Collaboration – Build connections with other organizations through co-hosted webinars, joint posts, and shared campaigns.

Fundraising & Finance (Leads: Jordan Joyce & Gerry Bourne)

  • Fundraising & Grants – Support donor outreach, appreciation, and grant writing.

  • Treasurer/Bookkeeping – Track funds and assist with documentation and filings.

Membership & Community (Lead: Stephanie Swanson)

  • Membership Committee – Review scholarship and membership applications.

  • Community Hosts – Help facilitate virtual coffee chats, webinars, or networking events.

  • Online Forum Moderators – Moderate our Facebook and Discord communities.

Technology & Operations (Lead: Rheanna Nutter)

  • Web & Database Support – Maintain the website and member directories.

  • CRM & Data Management – Oversee our CRM system and ensure data privacy.

  • Systems & Admin – Support event logistics, data entry, and accessibility review.
